Liposuction involves removing fat tissue from areas of the body that trigger your gender dysphoria or create a discomfort between a persons assigned gender and with which they identify. For many non-binary patients, the goal is to create a more gender-neutral body, whether that means enhancing curves or removing them. There is a wide variety with every body shape however, Dr. Stiller can help to remove any overly masculine or feminine body characteristics that may cause gender dysphoria. If needed, patients may also use fat grafting, or fat redistribution, as a way to help shape the body.

With liposuction, multiple areas can be treated at once to give you the shape you desire. Dr. Stiller encourages patients to look through before and after's or bring pictures themselves to make sure their goals are met.
After liposuction, patients are required to wear a compression garment for 4 weeks. Following the procedure, you will notice bruising and swelling to the areas along with moderate pain which can be treated with the pain regimen given by Dr. Stiller. Discomfort usually dissipates after 1 week while swelling can fluctuate for months depending on the amount of liposuction. All in all, patients do very well after their liposuction procedures with full results usually seen at 3 months.
