LABIAPLASTY BASICS
Labiaplasty or Aesthetic Vaginal surgery, is a surgical procedure that will reduce and/or reshape the labia minora (skin covering the female clitoris and vaginal opening). The problem may have been caused by genetics, sexual intercourse or difficulties in childbirth. In some instances, women with large labia experience pain during intercourse, feel discomfort during everyday activities or when wearing tight-fitting clothing. Others may feel unattractive or wish to enhance their sexual experiences by removing some of the skin that covers the clitoris. The purpose of a labiaplasty is to better define the inner labia. During this procedure the urethral opening may be redefined, and if necessary, improvements to the vagina may be made.

LABIAPLASTY BENEFITS
- Increased level of self-confidence
- Comfort during intercourse
- Reduction of asymmetry of the labia
BEST CANDIDATES FOR A LABIAPLASTY
The ideal candidate for a Labiaplasty is a female who experiences pain from twisting and tugging of the labia when riding a bike or during intercourse. A Labiaplasty may also be performed if the labia is asymmetrical causing the patient to feel self-conscious.
